i think im posting in the right section... if not can someone move it?

ive owned a golden clown knife for about half a year, about 3 months ago she got ridiculously aggressive. she would bite everything in my tank, all the time, and my bass would gang up on her to drive her away. every fish hated her. so i put a divider in my tank and separated her, shes in a 75-100 gallon section herself for 3 months. this morning i came downstairs and there was a large section of gravel cleared to the tank bottom, and a bunch of eggs on the cleared patch and stuck on the glass.

heres my problem. she was and still is up for sale. but if i could find a mate for her it could be fun to breed the little guys. so my question, anyone know of a way i can find a mate for her? considering theres, to my knowledge, no way to sex them correct? and she would probably destroy any females/unsuitable males that i introduce to the tank, and i dont have the means or space to keep trying to buy clown knives hoping in trial and error that one will end up mating. i highly doubt i will find a proven male breeder for sale alone in local classifieds, so does anyone have any advice? or should i just sell her cuz chances are low a mate could be found?

any other thoughts?

I moved it to the correct section for you.

Didn't even know they bed in captivity

The eggs wont last of there is no male to fertilize them. Besides successfully breeding knifefish in aquarium is very hard, they require massive swimming pools to breed.

Instead of introducing her to him get a male milt it and fertilize the eggs yourself. Females can't be milted so there's your method for sexing them.

Put them in a tumbler with some blue and you will have a day or two to get the job done.
