I have had this convict for about a year, it is about the size of a dime.
Does anyone have any info as to what is going on, is it just recessive genes or what. all of his/hers growth mates have made it to about two inches except this one.

Albinos are known for their less-than-vigorous growth. I have a true albino CAE that is still tiny while the other two I grew out hit 4" within a couple of months. Other than perhaps a parasite treatment as insurance and making sure your nitrAtes are below 20ppm for maximum growth rates, you're probably doing fine for him.

Just in case it's something obvious, got a pic of him?

Wait, is this one of a batch of albinos? Are you sure it is a true albino and not just a white con? What color were its siblings?

yeah, it may be a pink con, pictures would be helpful.

all the siblings are standard colors , it has somewhat of a pink belly

I am willing to bet it is a pink convict, the name "pink" can be a bit of a misnomer. A lot pink cons are completely white.

Are its eyes black?
