C. Paleatus?
I woke up this morning, and my dad told me about catfish eggs, "everywhere"
So I look at the community tank to see an awful mess of half-eaten and fresh eggs.
I moved the gigantic female & a male to a seperate 5g tank, and they already made 22 eggs, + I scraped off like 10 more from the community.
Im guessing that the scraped eggs will die hopelessly, but I'm going to put a couple airstones in the tank to get the water flow nice and strong for them.
How long until they begin to hatch?
Is temperature extremely important? I have them at room temperature, But I can manage higher.
I think the catfish are done, but I'm letting her sit still for a while before I remove her.
What else do I need to know?
I'm so happy! I've always wanted them to breed
