Albino eel tankmate for Aro?

My lfs called me asking if I wanted an albino eel, it's small now, supposed to get thick but no more than 10".

I've never had an eel, do you think it would be a good tankmate for my Aro? Anyone else have the combo or have eel knowledge? temperature, what do they eat, temperment towards fish and people, do they stay on the bottom or what what what this is gonna be intresting.

It will be here tomorrow (depending on the fish supplier as to whether or not is really comes in. I thought I'd ask about it b4 getting it tomorrow.
I'm paying $10 or $15 for it, are the albino/white ones rare or common?

Eels have a reputation of being tail nippers..I personally have had a few eels that I have gotten rid of quickly due to them nipping at my aros fins. Just something to think about...

Maybe if you try putting some hidingplace for the eel, maybe the aggression will subside.

I have a big fire eel in with my aros, and he doesn't mess with them at all. He does like to chase cons an JDs though.

So are do eels play well with others? I was mainly asking about the Aro, but how would he be towards clown loach, buffalo head, siamese algae eater, angelfish, pleco....they are all very young and 2-3 inches. Do eels attack and kill or eat other fish or are they just territorial?

And!!! will eels bite people hands in tank??

I have about 2 hours now to make this decision, he's supposed to come in today.
