Albino fish turning regular?

Someone I know bought three albino dantum angelfish a few months back.
Now, their colors are darkening (well....appearing), and their eyes have turned normal.

My question is, is this something that can happen naturally, or just a breeders trick?

Weird, haven't heard of it in angelfish; certainly other species of cichlids "fade" over time into certain colours, such as midas cichlids, white to orange, orange to white etc; the other instances are of dyed fish that regain their original colours.

I'm not too savvy on angels though, so an experienced member will know more
