yup it's a dolloi.

so the second set of pics is how it looked initially? if so, it had some dark pigment to begin with, which could explain its color now. But i can't tell you why it's happening. sorry.

Hey you finally mannaged to upload the pix.
It's a dolloi for sure...it is also a real special one congrats.
Well it is albino it has red eyes..and it has a dark color wich makes it real special.
Never seen one like yours before.
Good luck with it.
Keep me informed on the progress please.
growth rate and it's feeding behaviour.
When i first go my dolloi it was a bit shy....but it ate well especially night crawlers.
And it started growing real fast. my advice leave it allone as much as possible.
Feed allot and refresh refresh refresh.

Actually I'm looking for an Albino Lungfish which is same as yours... so clean & white... but end up this colour... Why it can become this colour... How can it change back to what it suppose to be?

Just give it some time and see how it turns out....my dolloi became a little pinkish.. my aethiopicus aethiopicus is more white but has some black spots and some yellow sign of its patern. my dolloi developped some black spots after 2 years..used to be spotless.
The black spots on my P.A.A. seem to fade a little.

I'm real curious on how your dolloi will turn out.
I think time will tell.
but I don't think it will turn out totally white.
(but I can't say for sure)

I think yours is a real looker and you should cherish it because you have a real special fish in your possession.
