Albino Oscar Health Question

Hi. I am considering getting an albino tiger oscar. I know albinos of other species can have genetic issues cause of inbreeding. Is this also true with albino tiger oscars? If there are any issues what are they? Thanks.

I just picked up one that is about 9 inches, he seems well, other then everyone smaller and same size is picking on

Are you certain that it is a true albino oscar? Many lutino oscars are sold as albino oscars. If they have had dark fins or dark/greyish spotting at any time in their life, then it is more likely a lutino.

I have had several over the years, along with friends of mine, and have never seen/had any issues. In fact albinos are the ones ive had the best health luck with, in my personal experience
