Albino Oscar not growing. Wth...

Gone fishin...
Ok guys I picked up 2 Tiger Oscars from my last roughly a month ago. One is a standard Tiger (growing fast) the other, an Albino Tiger (growing not)...

Are Albino Oscars slower to grow? They both eat like hungry hippos... What gives?

I swear the standard Tiger Oscar has grown more than an inch and is getting wider every day, the Albino has not grown a millimeter.

IME it could just be "saving up" for a growth spurt. When I first got into the hobby, I got two tigers and an albino. The albino did grow the slowest, so I suppose it is entirely possibly that something about albinos makes them slower growing than their regular tiger counterparts.

I had an albino that didnt grow at all. I sold it after four months of it not growing 1/2"
