There is a LFS looking to rehome 4, 2" albino Pacu. I was told that someone came in looking for some, and then never returned to pick them up. I have a 150g SA/CA cichlid tank, and I wanted to grow them out in this tank. I know eventually they will get too big and I will need to upgrade (looking at a 240g in the next year probably) Currently they are being held in a 20 and so if possible, I want to get them out ASAP, but not at the expense of my Cichlids...
They claim to be wild caught, although I have never seen a wild caught Albino Pacu in my life, they sure act like it. I was wondering if anyone thinks these Pacu are going to go after any of the following juvenile fish which currently inhabit my aquarium:
Green Terror
Convict
Mayan
EBAcara
School of Tinfoil Barbs
I had a RB Pacu that ate literally everything I put in the tank for food, I'm concerned its going to think one of my tinfoil barbs is also food eventually...
Any advice would be great (I know how big they are going to get though)
