I've been visiting my usual LFS's these past two weeks shopping for an albino poy sen for my 55 g grow tank and all of them I've seen look fat! Do albinos tend to have more girth? I bought one today and it's the same length as my poly sen but it's a chunky fella. I'll keep a watchful eye on it and next time it's next to my poly sen I'll get a picture to post. Any insight would be great. Thanks

I've decided I'm taking the albino back to the store tomorrow. I'm a little disappointed because I thought it'd be cool to have, but after having one in the tank for a few hours I was sure I liked it as much then my poly sen decided he didnt like it either! He's usually playful and inquisitive. He swam right up and bit the albino!
Well, that sounds like "bloat" could be nothing, or the worse thing ever. If you fell he should go back than do so. He shouldn't have problems straight from the store.
I don't think it was "bloat" but rather a more likely cause was it was a Short Bodied SB they seem more rotund than other polys not my favs otherwise polys should be just as slender as any other unless they're overfed
they do look fat because of the fact that they don't grow that long, i think they would just max out at around 8 or 9 inches.
