I had seen a few of this at my local Petco,i wanted some but was affraid cause i heard they are real bad fin nippers and i have a Silver Aro only about 6".Is this true??

It depends on the personality on the fish. If you only get 1 then it more than likely will nip because it Has nothing to shoal with. If you get 3-4 then they won't be nippy.
we had three with an aro and it completely left it alone
well... we did have for awhile I should say. until the jag caught and killed one and then the aro ripped one in half. got them at night when they were sleeping. but even when we had only one it minded its own business

TFB's are also known to be pigs. And depending on what you are feeding your aro, they could outcompete it. They are always moving and quick to grab food too.
I have been keeping tinfoils for 20 years and they are quite peaceful..they get big, but they shouldnt bother other large fish..
I would be more concerned if they are compatible with the fish you have and if you have room to properly keep and care for them. That 150g you have seems to be getting more and more crowded by the day.
Dont confuse me with my son,my 150 gal is just fine with plenty of room,dont instigate me i am not a young kid,you;ll lose.
