Ok since Gommez suggested this is worth it's own thread I will start one. I have a small group of these. Supposedly the adult parents were wild caught albinos. There is no proof to support this claim and since Stuart Grant has passed he can't confirm either. I have researched them and have found no claims to support this either and others close to Stuart said they never heard anything about it.

Anyway they are real nice looking fish. Does anyone else have any? I will post pics tonight

My breeder male died when my system went haywire. All I have left now are 11 juvies and the breeder female who now resides in the breeding colony of regular yellow labs.

To correct my earlier statement I was told my breeders were F1 bred from wild parents. That's just what I was told when I bought the breeding setup. The guy I bought the setup from has been to Malawi and dove there to catch fish. Who knows if it's true or not. Like I said before also Stuart Grant is no longer with us to confirm or deny.

Here are some pics of the juvies. I didn't feel like catching the adult female to take pics of her.

I know there aren't a lot of these around. They sell fast and they go for a good high price everytime I post on aquabid and they always go for more the next time I post them. Kind of odd.

They are nice man. You should try and breed the albinos with the regular morphs to get split genes.
Is their temperament the same as normal labs?

As far as I have seen they are pretty much the same. I like the albinos better. Not as common and have a very nice white to them. Nice white frost on the tips of some of my juvies fins.
