Anyone heard of this being used as a wet/dry trickle media. I use it in my sump and it is great, but it is totally submerged. I was hoping to use it as media in a wet/dry on a large scale. Alfagrog was cost a lot less to fill the tower than bio balls would.

Hi, yes Wharf Aquatics at Pinxton, Notts use it on many of their tanks with wet/dry and swear by it.

how much is needed for 100g sump on a 500g? is there a time of use on it?

I see it's called Supra here in the U.S. and is sold in 1lb bags.
