Sunny Southern Californiaaaaaa
it looks like i have some brown algae on my tank and it is hard for me to remove...there is also some white water marks forming in the tank too...

even when i try scrubbing it, its still hard for the white spot to come out.

would a common pleco do the work???

would a pleco remove the water spots..... no.. not at all...

Get a Feifeng / Flagtail Luke. They're the best tank cleaners. Plecos doesn't do the job!

a feifang isint going to eat waterspots either...

feifangs also poop just as much as plecos do.. true they dont poop "rope" like plecos do they have more of a nonstop diarrhea type of poop.. they also tend to LOVE eating slimecoat..

for the diatoms/brown algae get a magfloat or a scraping wand made for acrylic.. you will have to work a bit harder but glass cleaners will scratch the tank.. if you dont drag it though sand or crush snails with it you wont scratch your tank..

for the water spots.. when you do a water change get a papertowel DAMP (not wet just damp) with vinegar and rub it off.. waterspots are just calcium buildup.. if the papertowel is wet you will drip vinegar in the tank and thats something you dont want to do..

i can't get a flagtail cuz i think my aro will eat it or beat it up

it is also pretty hard for me to scrub the tank too bc MOST of the part is hard for me to reach...maybe the mag float will work

do you guys think a common pleco can eat the brown algae?
