My little cousin dumped a 1lb bag of algae wafers into my 55 gallon. I don't know when he did it just that it was earlier today. I cleaned it out because the tank was completely green. Is there any health or reprocussions I should be concerned about?

Just do water changes for now and watch.

i did between a 25-35 percent water change i'd say. scrubbed the side of the walls before i vacuumed it. there was alot of wafers and the worst part was that they had started to dissolve so it was harder to pick up.

A large water change will not hurt anything. If they dissolved quickly, I would have done almost 80% water change just to remove most of it along with thorough vacuuming. Netting them out won't remove them completely out of the tank.

i vacuumed the tank, i didn't net the wafers, i'd say i did 30% refilled and then took more out so total probably 50%? there was no left overs left in the sand. the water was still slightly green but nowhere near as bad as when i arrived home.
