algae eaters safe with plants

Howdy,

I am looking for an algae eater that's a little less of a "bite-size" than Otocinclus or Crossocheilus. I had good luck with Ancistrus dolichopterus, but they attacked my Echinodorus.

Any other ideas? Other plecos? Maybe rubber lips?

i kept a fei fang in a planted set up with no real problems... i did add a eloda plant and it mainly nibbled on that and left the others alone...
