Looking for something to go with my Gulper Catfish. Tank gets a little sun in the day, so something to provide a little helping hand would be great.

Must also be compatible with plants.

So I assume I'm looking for some type of snail? So which large snail would be ok with the Gulpers and my plants?

Thanks!

Nerite snails may be worth a try. Avoid the spiny ones as they can likely injure your fish.

no "algae eating fish" can only feed on algae and leftovers. every pleco or algae eating loach in the hobby needs to be fed their own food, whether it be veggies of meat. I agreee with Lupin, nerite snails could work.

i keep mine with a cheap pleco. he's been in my 55g for 6 months now, and the pleco's with him. he doesnt seem to bother it, barely notices it actually.
