Algae eaters

What's the best algae eater to have with polys? I have a pleco right now and two sens and whenever I put pellets in the tank my pleco attacks my sens. And also I'm worried that the pleco sucks the slime off of the sens. I never see it Happen but you never know.

flag tail but even they can get a taste for slime i personaly wouldnt put any pelco with my bichirs

Without a doubt the best algae eater is the bushy nose pleco. The tanks I put them in stay spotless

yea i would never put any algae eater with a poly. Even if you don't actually see them sucking the slime coat doesn't mean they don't. Alot of stuff can go down when the lights go off at night. haha

Get a bunch of mystery snails.

Certain apple snails also eat algae.

Does anyone have experience Gyrinocheilus aymonieri kept together with the smaller species of Polypterus? Or how about with the Labeo parvus? I've been thinking about these options algae eaters in my aquarium.
