Alright, so I'm going to be setting up my 100g this coming week and I want a couple of suggestions for algae control. I DON'T want to do another pleco. This tank will have my Clown Knife ,Indo Dats , and possiblely a bicher. Anyway, I'm trying to stay away from the common pleco or chinese/siamese algae eaters. If any of you know alternitives please....fill me in.

Aren't they a bit small? I'd hate to buy them as algae eaters only to have them become feeders. I mean really....CK's and Dats are big eaters....and I don't like tossing money away.

How about a sponge? Or maybe a Mexican? I am waiting for a good answer on algae eaters too, but I have a feeling it is going to be the old fashioned way.

I get the feeling that you're right Chompers. I guess I'll start looking for an interesting pleco.....Blast!
