So i am quite seeing alot of build up on my plant leaves. Alot of brown algae. Is this something to be alarmed? If the leaves are completely covered by the algae will they stop the plants from photosynthesizing?

i dont think so ,,, i had that problem and i got a pleco then the next morning the plant and rocks looked brand new ... but then the pleco became a pooping machine and after about a month he stopped eating the algea of anything so i got rid of heim now i just scrub them my self ...

looks like diatoms/brown algae. is this a new tank? this algae is usually present in new tanks due to high silicates and ammonia. it usually goes away on its own in a few weeks
