Algae help!

Ever since I have gotten my Neolamprologous Multifiactus which is around a year ago, I've had algae problems. So what living aquatic animal do you recommend to keep it in check? It is a 20gal tank. I started out with 7 little multies and now they've exploded into around 18ish.

It is very dark green. Not sure exactly of the type.

You might have a lot of fishes ...what's your filtration

Yesterday I made water change. WC every two weeks. 20 gallon filter. When I say around 18 fish, a lot of them are under 3/4". I just want to know a type of invertebrate or fish that will be able to handle the Multies.

I think your filter is to small for all those fishes adding one more puts more work ...
