My krib tank has started growing green hair algae on the plants. The kribs pick at it but don't really put too much of a dent in it. Is there any fish that will eat this stuff?

There are a few fish that will eat it, there is this one sp. of livebearer that does eat it and they do a really good job, but I forgot what there name was. I don't know of a pleco that will take care of it either.
When I had it I ended up leaving the lights off on the tank until it died off, but a aglae killer med should do the trick if you can't find out what those livebearers are.
