from what i hear maybe ur lights r on to much alot of ppl say like 4 hrs max a day .... hang out someone will know better then i
4 hours is way too short. 8-12 on the setup. Probably have to much phosphates leftover. Bigger water changes and a cleanup crew is what Id go with. If its a peaceful tank try some octocinclus, small catfish. Or depending on taste Malaysion Trumpet Snails.

i think lights are on too long but not entirely sure thats what the problem used to be with the old anubias in my tanks

You could try some floating plants, they will help to shade the plants below, reducing the amounts of algea. And they will help to absorbe the excess nutrients.

Water Lettuce and Frog bit work well.

Ok thanks for the responses everyone. I have 6 cories I have 2 big snails and the rest are pond snails. Hornwort would be fine to have float as my plant to block some of the light. If I block the light with my hornwort. Should I still keep it at 2 bulbs?
