anyone have any advice on how to take care if the algae all i keep doing is scrubbing the rocks off and it works for a week or two then it looks like this again well thay kill a pleco or am i stuck ?

this is what i done with my tank... take my cloth / shirt, give toothpaste and scratch it with power... but firstly, you have move your fish to other tank..

so that means it is a good thing and i just need to clean it off every few weeks or is it a bad thing and i still need to clean it off. reading the description of it kinda makes me think it is good and my bio system in the tank has fully matured to what i try to achieve with a fully bio run filter system. but it can also cause problems with releasing toxins into the tank and harm the fish. it is funny how the same plant/bacteria can have both good and bad qualitys.
is there anything i should do about it or will it be ok as long as i control it because all and all it kinda makes the tank look more like a natural river basin rather then a run of the mill fish tank and i prefer that look rather then the same ol plastic plant gold fish bowl. o and it is a 150 breeder (48lx24dx21h) so the fish have plenty of room to swim with out haveing to back up
