Anyone ever use those magnets from big als online? they feel so rough I bought a set but afraid to use it I don't want is scatching the glass.

I use magfloats and some other kind (forget the name) and they dont scratch the glass unless you get some sand or gravel stuck in it.

Howdy,

No plastic can scratch glass. Some scrapers even contain razor blades. I clean the glass with a kitchen scrub sponge. However, if you have an acrylic tank, you need to watch out!

I use a spong with something like sand paper on one side. If it's real bad I use a razor blade. I only have glass. I have never scratched the glass. And, I scrub hard.

Do you mind getting wet? Use a old credit card or something similar. Don't worry about it scratiching your glass. If you have a acrylic tank, make sure you buy scrapers only for acrylic.

ive seen special acrylic magnetic ones with softer plastic on the inside and cleaning cloth on the outside so look around!
