Does anyone run algae scrubbers on their freshwater tanks to remove nitrates?
I did this on my saltwater tanks with great results. I also have a thick bed or hair type algae on my outside pond that looks nice and I harvest it once a week. Nitrates stay under 10ppm without water changes (which I still do) and I can only think the algae is what's keeping it down
