I have had small spots of yellowish, light brown algae, but after my two week vacation the algae has covered up the acrylic of my entire tank, How do I get rid of this persistent algae/fungus?????? Thanks in advance.

u could use a pleco. many dont recommend this cuz they produce lots of waste, but if ur filtration can handle it i think it works. i had the same problem and got a small one, like a bushynose, or rubberlip (ive had success with both) and the algae was gone within 2 or 3 days
