get your self one of those long handled algea brushes
 
I have snails but once the rays get bigger they can just suck them out of the shell. Do alot of water changes and if u want to take a risk you can try dif. pleco to see if any of them work

Please don't use algacides with rays. If you have a serious algae issue with your ray, it could be from underlying reasons.

A little algae never hurt anyone, IMO, it creates a more stable environment.
 
i only clean it off the front glass. no one looks from the sides and back, let it grow where you can
 
i got the biggest one in the tank now.. I just want to hear what every one else is doing
