Ok so I got rid of my big pleco because he would chase my sens whenever I dropped food in the tank. And two days later I already have bad algae growing. Is there any alternative to algae eaters, because people say that plecos are bad to have with polys. However I'm regretting gettin rid of mine because that's the only time he really bothered them, and they still got food to. Help please I don't want bad algae.

It's not down to fish to keep your tank free of algae.
You need to investigate why you are getting it, and deal with that.
A UV sterilizer may help, but you will need a little bit of human power to keep YOUR tanks clean.

Bristle nose plecos don't seem to suck the slime coat off bichirs, maybe try one of these. Also, test your nitrates, rapid algae growth is a sign of high nitrates. If it isn't nitrates, what kind of lighting do you have? Any direct sun light?

Is there sunlight hitting your tank? If so, either move the tank or close the curtains. I only have the lights on my tanks about 4 hours per day.

No no sunlight but I do have the 4 lamp t5 aquatic life light with the built in timer with to rosette lamps and two 6k lamps. I turned the 6k lamps off the past couple of days and the algae looks to have slowed down. I'm going to move everything around this week to clean algae when I do a water change, and soon change it to sand, as of right now I have crushed coral. No direct sunlight hitting the tank either. I have a aquatop filter with the built in uv so should I run that a little? Will it get rid of the algae on the bottom?

UV will only effect free floating algae. The hair algae likes light in the blue spectrum. So keep that at a minimum.

Ok because my light came with blue actinics so stay away from those? I don't have them in but have thought about it.

Yes. My LCD has blue and I tried not using them. The hair algae did not come back after a cleaning and no blue. I have since planted my tank and need the blue but with the plants...no algae
