i have been noticing a lot of algea build up on my 20g since i got rid of my pleco. any thing i can do about it? its full of plastic plants right now, but i am going to lose those and go to a bunch of different low light live plants.

Fast growing plants like amazon swords, and hornwort will help with keeping algae in check. Also, watch your parameters. High nitrates or phosphates are causes for green spot algae, and to weak of lights or silicates is a cause for brown algae.
