In my planted tank I have 11 algae eaters of different natures, so in order to always have plenty of green algae I leave my lights on extra. Worked great for a few months, but now my water is green, and the free floating algae is impossible to clear up. I hooked up a timer to the lights to reduce the lighting... Which hopefully solves it over time, but any quick fixes? Water change helped a little.
Also, if anyone knows a brand/model of a Quality but on the inexpensive side uv sterilizer I'd love that.
