well i just got a 10 gal set it and started to cycle it well i went to bed the that mourning i got up and the water was so cloudy i could not even see the back of the tank all the chemicals are in it but i think it could possible becuase of my plants i have in it but im not sure but i cant attached some pictures of the tank because it wont let me up load them

in this order:
vac tank, wait a few hours, clean out filter, cut back on feeding, leave lights off for a few weeks

idea is to get out as much waste/nutrients out and shade it from light. if its near a window you may have to cover the tank with a sheet. no food, no light= no algae

if the tank is empty (no live fish) is a bacteria bloom or just debri in the tank floating around. most new tanks go through this. my 150 was cloudy for 6 weeks, just wait it out.

well i thought ya'll would like to know that my tank is already clearing up and it not a total white out now i can actually see the back of the tank but it seems one of my plants are missing hummm wonder if my catfish eat it he did look nice and plump today
