What's a decent size alge eater (5in max) beside pleco that are less dirty and is actually doing it job. And won't get snack on my tank full of monster wolf's/ Dorado? Thanks

idk if these will get eaten, but some of the synodontis/microsynodontis don't get bigger than 5 inches and eat algae.

Another choice would be bristle nose plecos. They eat algae and aren't too messy. Not sure if they'll not be eaten though.

Bristle nose is what I have now there messy but not by much ad the common

I have a random rainbow shark with my tex and 8" syn. All the other fish in the tank completely ignore him and he takes care of any brown algae that may appear. The rainbow shark is constantly on the move cleaning surfaces. May be cool to have a few of them, I think they are rather attractive, albeit common/
