Hi all
kinda new here so here it goes...

i have a 22L with a bristlenose and a clown plec in but the walls are still covered in algea. there is a dark green algea and a sort on stringy algea on the glass. i will clean it if nessessary but i was wondering why my plecs wern't doing it for me?

Is this 22 liters or 22 gallons long? No more fish please. Use algae scrubber.;)

You should not expect the plecs to eat algae all the time. Read Chilerelleno's sticky thread in Plecos section under Bottom Dwellers.:)

Scrub the alge really good then kill your lights for 3 days shouldclear up.By the way how much light are you using?(type,wattage,and duration)
 
thanks for the reply and the link, will have a read!!

im not too good on lights (dont have a planted tank) but i think i use T8, 3amp lights and i don't know how long for never really occured to me but thinking about it its way too long, will cut back thanks!!
