I have a Silver Arowana, and I'll be getting two motoros within the next few weeks. I would like to add some algue eater but I've read that plecos might hurt the sensitive skin of the rays. Any suggestions on this ?
I've had many different plecos in with my rays with no problems. As long as they are getting enough to eat I think they tend to leave live fishes alone.
I had one in with my rays for years until he got hit by the stinger. Only reason for this is I put them into to small of a stock tub when I redid my floors and had to move the tank. The pleco I had was about 12 or 13" and always left the rays alone, big or small.
