I have never purchased anything on this site, and I'm just wondering how legit this site is? And what I should be prepared for with purchasing my first fish online?

I purchased twice from two local vendors...both went through without a problem.

I bought cichlids...now, if someone was advertising Asian Arros, I would not touch with a 10 foot pole.

just make sure they have decent feedback and you should be fine. I bought some cherry shrimp and a few fish off there with no problems

I've used them with out any problems. But I think is easier to find the fish on there then just go to the sellers website an email or call them about the fish you want. I agree you have to read the customer reviews before.

I've used it quite a bit, I have even sold on there. Just use common sense and you should be fine. If you have a clue how to buy from amazon and ebay you will do ok on aquabid.
