ALL FISH DEAD

From your experience, How does you girlfriend feel about your fishtank/fish, before this happen? It sounded like she accidentally or purposely dump something in the tank. You're the only one that can answer this question.

You can replicate the smell, from mixing water w/ bleach,w/ laudry detergent,w/ glass cleaner,w/ car oil, w/ glue, w/ drinks alcohol or sodas, and so forth.....

Does she hate your fish?? Does she think you spend too much time with them and on this forum??? She could've gotten most any household cleaner and done that. Was there a lining on the surface? like something was covering it??? I'm not trying to blame her, but keep an open mind...she could've. Or the Oscar just puked. Either way.

Ash, If there was a guy in the room we would've suspected him too!!! But, sorry to say, most girlfriends/wives or even women in general don't really like fish, and while you are in a relationship with someone, crap happens. You kill the fish, you get the man...
 
sorry for the loss. did you check if their were dead feeders? i have 11 dats and it happened to me once when i gave them feeders and they tried to swallow as many as they can. luckily my wife notice it in the middle of the night and told me. i was quick enought to net it out to avoid loss. :(

i doubt 2 or 3 fish puking is going to contaminate 240gals of water

damn, thats really crappy...
did the test the water post death?

check all your pumps,heaters etc for wear or burning?

lots of female haters I see..lol
