All glass aquariums

I have talked to a guy on Craigs list who is selling two 75 gallon tanks with glass lids and 48" single bulb light down to $375 for the pair.He says they are both brand new,and in his add said he wanted $225 a piece for them.

I have not looked at 75's for awhile now,so I don't know if $375 is a good price for two 75g with lids and light($187.50 a piece),or if All Glass are even a descent tank.

Any comments on the price for the two 75's or All Glass tanks?

It sound decent i seen ppl post 20 gallon set up for 100 a piece

Yeah,but this is just the tank,lid and lights.Supposedly brand new.

I have never owned an ALL Glass either so I don't know if it is a descent tank or not.

Brand new as in never used, or brand new as in barely used? AGA are great tanks imo also. I think you can get the same, if not cheaper deal at Petland.

honestly, i think you could talk him down more...if he bought them new for the price your paying...you could get less, idk anything about ALL GLASS aquariums but they really cant be trash; i would say talk him down to 300 but its your call...some people dont budge, good luck

That is what I was thinking too,and we are both in the midwest. I just haven't priced new tanks for awhile,so I'm not sure what 75's are going for.I might go out to the Petsmarts,Cos,and Lands tomorrow and check.

Well they were brand new,still has the stickers on them. He said he had them for about 6 months and had them stored in the basement. Silicone looked good and the glass does not have a scratch on either of them.
I gave him $375 for the pair.
Now to get the stands,filters,heaters,etc.......

All my tanks are that brand there decent tanks. Usually the glass doesn't line up on all the corners though. My 75 corner's are all messed up some place the from glass it in more then the side and same with back. my 150 is like that on one corner. Never had any leaks with any of them though. I can't compare them to other brands though only ever had that brand.
