All Glass Stand question URGENT HELP PLEASE!

Bought an AGA stand 72x24 yesterday but was very hesitant to put my 240 on in. Tank doesn't fit flush inside the stand,not wide nor long enough, it will fit on the outside trim if that makes sense to you guys but I dont see anything that is supporting this trim up vertically also if its on the top like this the tank doesnt even it on the cross braces. I did remember seeing a 150 st the lfs sitting on an AGA stand like this though but it was not filled.

So tank is sitting as of now on the ground and before I dare to set it on and fill I wanted to make sure if this was the correct way to put it on and how is it going to be supported

You guys with AGA stands and big tanks can you check to see how yours are sitting, I blew 1000 on the stand lights and an fx5 and am dying to get it started, thanks
 
Pics if possible would help I had a lot of concern while seting up my 265 also

all glass is the brand name.

From the description it doesn't sound right, but like a couple others have said a picture is worth 1000 words.

Whew. I couldn't figure out why someone would want a stand made out of glass..

my 180 sits on top of my aga stand. the cross braces do not touch the tank and everything is the way it is meant to be. other than a few loud pops(quite startling i might add)from a new stand "settling" during the first fill up everything has been great.

I think I see what you are saying -- the tank doesn't "go inside" the cabinet/stand, like you would think. As shown in the pic. above, this is how its supposed to be i.e., the tank won't fit inside the cabinet.

I don't know if I myself have explained it correctly to you though :)

I returned the AGA stand and got a perfecto one since my tank is perfecto and the fit is perfect, setting it up right now as we speak!
