ALL ICK EXPERTS PLEASE HELP QUICK!!!

i have a 1/2 gallon aquarium wiht 2 bettas and they both got ick and what i need t know is will tablesalt work for treating the ick and how much salt should i put in? please help me parents said that if these bettas die i cant get any more so i really need help

I put table salt in my 65gal and got ich. Go to you lfs, or petco, petsamrt or walmart and try to find some treatment.

yea buy those fizzing tablets as for salt never use table sale use aquarium salt

the thing is that i dont have any money to use(im only 14 and have no way to get money) but i do have some ick treatment but it hasnt worked before when my fish got ick the name of it is "quick clear fast relief for ick & protozoan parasites" "directions:add one drop per gallon untill cured all fish" but it hasnt worked before...

Meds are useless and im against tablesalt. The only way you're going to save these fish is to turn the heat up to 84-86 degrees and add 1 tablespoon of AQUARIUM salt per 5 gallons of water.

Well you can still try adding a little bit of salt but chances are they are gonna die if you cant crank the heat up.

i did add /4 teaspoon of tb salt and they seem a little less stressed and are starting to eat now
