All Large Cichlid Owners Understand

I used to keep geophagus and they'd leave a pyramid of gravel in the center of the tank. I have had just about every cichlid over 8 inches do that to me, salvinis, oscars, flowerhorns, red devils, green terrors, jack dempseys, pike cichlids, firemouth cichlids, etc.
Felix digs a gravel pit and piles it in the corners.
When all he had was these rocks, he still tried to move them.
Too dangerous!
I took them away and gave him gravel & a bigger rock.
Mojo digs all the time. I think it's because he hates the blue gravel. He wants yellow gravel he can hide on. This was months ago and he's now 6" and the blue gravel is history.
Mojo is now a sumpfish. He couldn't cut it in the community.

Im my geo tank its like watching the desert dunes constantly moving from one side of the tank to the other.
