I swear guys... you guys seriously have infected me with intense fish keeping.... i got a 55gallon not even 3 months ago... and NOW...AND NOW... im already thinking of a

4x2x2 120 gallon.... what the hell... ! !:D

So, how big is the difference between 4x1x1.5 and 4x2x2 will this open up a LARGE number of choices of fish I can keep? :D

Seriously, im not gonna keep just my flowerhorn in a 120 gallon :D

Suggestions please?

120 gallons would keep three or four 10" fish happily. Choose carefully and enjoy. I had an Oscar and some doradids, and an L200 in my 125g and it worked well.

good luck finding something to go with your FH, id leave him in the 55 and just start the 120 from scratch tbh

+1
If the FH will be going in the 120, that will lower your chances of keeping other fish in there..

LOL i wanna sell my 55gallon tho, not enough space to keep them both :D Should i just get like a 2ft tank for my FH with superb filtration?

I know MANY ppl that have kept flowerhorns in 2-3 ft tanks, for 6 years, 30cm growth, beautiful colors.... FH does not require much space as oscars, I can telly ou that myself... I can fit a 2.5ft on my table, and my 120 gal where my 55gal is now !!

Suggestions!! :D

when i had my flowerhorn for a while he was in 3' x 1' x 2' tank and constantly struggling to move around, i ended up rehoming him rather than giving him the 75 but even though i like to push my limits on small tanks from time to time id really give the FH at least a 4' tank

I was going to put him in the 120 gal IF i get it, and put in 2 oscars with him :/

nah man, don't do that you'll be flamed..

Grrr i want oscars!! lol and no im not selling my flowerhorn.

I would recommend a 6ft tank, recently got a 6' 125g and love it! Also, all though I've had atleast one aquarium running for the last eight years or so, this site has also "infected" me. Haven't had my 125 for two months yet, and am already thinking of my next bigger tank!
