Apologies if we've done something like this before, but I wasn't able to find one with the search function. I've seen plenty of threads highlighting awesome sump design, great aquascaping, massive homemade tanks, but not really one that compiles a bunch of stand/canopy build setups that would count as furniture quality. Like a best in Stands thread.
Ignoring the actual fish and aquascaping, what is the nicest looking tank setup you've seen?
I'm mostly interested in the nicest stands or best integration into rooms, and since I'm looking for inspiration, DIY stands get extra credit.
Stuff like:
NolaGT's kitchen-matching tank
BudFan8's oak tank (with equally great sump planning)
VLDesign's in-wall setup
Isaack's 500 build
Joe's 220 (which I actually had a chance to buy from the guy he sold it to)
Awesome Stand/shelf combo (including his great sketchup plans)
Anything by ADG (the decorative galleries have the best pics, they recently redid their site)
There was another great one that C-F had of a 600g in-wall tank in his billiard room, integrated with the cabinets, that I thought looked awesome. I had it bookmarked, but I guess they let 4+ year old threads expire or something because it's gone. That was a really nice one too.
Anyway, that's the kind of stuff I like. I like when the stand is as much a work of art as the rest. When a tank can be a real centerpiece. Who has seen some other great ones, or can show off their own?
