So what is the source of forum users buying a species of fish they can't ID and don't know anything about? I have done my research before buying a fish and on fish I don't even like just for a general knowledge. Is it the thrill of the "have to act fast" part, or is it just cause of overconfidence. Most of these fish are spendy, at least where i live. I've read so many posts on a hobbiest' fish being dead in the morning when they check on them, and dying for unknown reasons. Why do so many people take the chance. One fish can be described from one region, and be totally different, and have different water conditions to keep healthy than the fish thought of. This is all just my opinion and the question just popped in my head, but still makes me feel pity for the fish. From one fish lover to another, its a little skittish if you ask me!
