that is just wikipedia. there is a book called the everchanging luo han or something similar that is much better

I have the book but this is for those that dont have a book. Flower horn seem to slow down as many people in Asia they dont breed them or own them no more.

Well, in the Philippines, one seller did complain the demand for flowerhorns seem to have lowered but I still see plenty of hobbyists in my local forums into flowerhorns.

dunno about other places but flowerhorns are still extremely popular in Hong Kong, whenever new shipments are coming in you will find that all the nice ones will have already been ordered by customers within a day or so. The flowerhorns nowadays are so much nicer than a few years ago, about a year ago srt's were showing up all over the place and now a higher quality of shortbodies/bonzais seem to be the newest trend as they don't need that much space.

I went to Vietnam and Thailand last December and try to look for some, and a lot of the store got shut down due to unpopular fish. Most of them end up in river :(. You are seeing the opposite as now a day its harder to find a good one as people don't breed it no more, only farm do. I guess its unpopular in country that breed them but start to get popular in country where they can't breed.
