125g tank stock Oscar,2 GT,Texas,JD, and convict. Only four fish are staying in this tank just growing them out together. Hoping on one of the GT 'S being Male.

Thanks. Love them when they are at this stage. Of course the convict is the most aggressive (for now). Imagine if a convict reached 14" that would be a beast

Lol, you don't have to imagine; a midas or buttikoferi are the two most similar candidates
The little 2" convict has 75g to himself now. The other 5 fish are sharing the remaining 50g. Happy to have a convict again
The only problem i can see if with the Convict.
The other fish with have a substantial size advantage over the Convict eventually which could be a problem.
I had a GT, Texas and Convict in the same tank once. The Convict and Texas showed signs of breeding but it never happened. There was never any aggression between them.
The GT ruled the tank and eventually wouldn't let the Convict leave his cave. It would get a beating if it ever did. I eventually re homed the GT.
Convicts can usually hold their own against larger cichlids so chances are you will be fine.
I agree with Frank, add a few more caves as well.
