Alligator gar diet. help!

I have a 10" Alligator gar. Right now he is on large shiners from the bait store. What other things could i feed him that wont be so exspensive?

About big enough for prepared foods such as cut tilapia, shrimp, scallops, swai... entice him with cut fish on a set of tongs and he should bite.

Get him on massivore by hikari or floating carni sticks. It's 20$ a bag tht will last u 3-5 weeks depending on how much u feed him, don't put him on live food he will eat only tht do live food time to time
