alligator gar in a pond

hi um i planning on building a 6m long pond 4m wide and 3ft deep would this be able to house a aligator gar and would i need heating for the pond

Def large enough in terms of footprint. I'd personally try to give it a little bit of 4ft depth somewhere if possible just cause I think it's nice for the fish to be able to move around. And like the other guy said, heating depends how cold it gets there.

Most likely. Even in places like Florida it does get cold every once in a while. You may not need to run it all the time but atleast when you need it you would have it.

i live in australia nsw somit gets to max in winter on a cold day -4 at it worst but mostly 10degres celcious

ok i wiil make a 2 foot end a a 4foot end just so a varied land

Are you trolling or something? Alligator gars occur in Texas, Louisiana, Missisippi - why would one need heating in Florida?
