Alligator Gar Q's.

Does anybody know if these gars are found in Maryland, USA?

Does anybody keep these in outdoor ponds? That's so much more interesting than carp!

Not found in Maryland.. Longnosed (Lepisosteus osseus) is though. I'm not sure how common they are and would imagine them being rather rare fish.

Yes they can be kept in ponds and are much more interesting than Carp...

Ahh..Ok right.. I had to jog my memory there for a bit... Forgot the area and watershed they are in over there.. should have automatically thought Champ...
