Does anyone know the size differences in size between semi short body and short body alligator gars.

That is a very general question that I don't think anyone can answer accurately.. but I think I can give it a shot.. First of all it really depends on the individual fish and how screwed up it is genetically. I believe that most SB/ super SB spatulas will max out at 30 inches. Semi SB spatulas should max out under 40 inches. I currently have 3 larger SB/super SB spatulas( a bit over a year and all from 3 in - 10 in when I first got them) 2 of SB spatulas are 26-28 inches while the platinum SB gar is only about 12 inches.
